Hi, folks.
I can’t seem to wake up lately. I feel like I’m in a fog. Maybe someone is drugging my water. I should probably stick to the safer stuff. Like Diet Coke.
Maybe I am in the “is summer still going??” phase. I remember summer being the best time of carefree, lack of rules months but being on the parent side these days, it’s become very exhausting and I still have one more month of it.
Oh boy.
We’ve been having a blast but it’s wiping me out and I need my own summer vacation!
Anyway, I thought I would join in with Emmy and do “10 Things to Smile About”.
So, in no particular order, here’s what I have to smile about from the past couple months:
1. My local library! I’ve said it a million times-I would die without this place. And Goodreads.
2. Playing with Goblins.
3. Pure unadulterated family fun!
4. A burger worth the drive.
5. RUNNING AGAIN!!! (Let it be noted that running is a relative term)
6. Tank races!! A Thomas family tradition on the 4th of July.
7. Surviving the train trip from Hell.
8. The Closer
9. Fireworks (Baby ‘plugging’ her ears while watching legal explosives)
10. A stiff drink.

Great list, see there is good stuff :). Soon summer will be over. You know your trouble might be those hard drinks :p. And I am so glad those guys actually stopped the Grau for you, so so scary.
I loved your list! I am smiling because every day brings me a day closer to fall, my favorite season!!! Also, (and I can't stop telling people this because its a secret) I am smiling because its almost my Dad's birthday and we are surprising him with a trip to Paris and London!! I <3 surprises!! p.s. We demand more Mindi blogs!!! Give the people what they want!!

Also, I love the library too. In fact, I laugh at all the morons that I can see walking into Barnes and Noble from our library doors. SUCKERS! I'm getting it for FREE!
Oh that little lily, she is so adorable. Well, I am uterus-free, that is totally something to smile about. And I have a great friend named Mindi who totally helps me out every chance she gets, she is kind of amazing :)
Omgosh, those onion straws are making me hungry! We love the closer too. Brenda cracks me up.
