Recent Purchase

I made a pretty exciting purchase last week. I haven’t been this excited about money spent since we bought our first baby crib or when I bought my wedding veil!

I bought my cap and gown for my graduation from the community college! I’ve been wandering the house wearing them, practicing my walk for the big day! They even came with ‘Honors’ tassels from all my brown nosing extra hard work.

I was a little worried about the cap fitting since it said ‘One Size Fits All’ and I have a freakishly large head. Whenever I have attempted to wear a hat that’s a ‘One Size Fits All’, I can hear the hat weeping from being stretched in such unnatural ways. I come from a family of freakishly large headed people. Whenever my dad tries to wear a ball cap, his IQ drops about 25 points. It’s really sad. I think they named a condition after us.

It’s called The Thomas Family Freakishly Large Head Disorder. It’s in medical journals. And on the internet.

But anyway, now I have a new decision to make on a regular basis.

Do I wear the wedding veil or the cap and gown while I do the dishes?

What’s a girl to do??

Wear both, the cap can help keep the veil on :)

And congrats! So so good for you!

Way to go Mindi! That is such a big accomplishment! Heck why stop at wearing it while doing the dishes, I say wear it straight into Maverik to get your Diet Coke or at Maceys while you grocery shop!! lol
