Confess

Hi. Remember me? Yes, I am here to confess:

  • I haven’t been around much.
  • My husband has been working on a wedding video that can be very time consuming and tedious and he had to commandeer my lover computer to do it.
  • The video(s) turned out great.
  • I’ve had a hard time with even real life social situations
  • So, yeah, my virtual social life is lacking, too.
  • I’m pretty sure no one has noticed.
  • I’m hoping once I’m done writing about depression, The Graduate and math(um, yeah, seriously??), I’ll have a desire to write for fun again.
  • Yes, those are 3 different papers.
  • I know, they could totally all be one.
  • 1 over middle aged lady+1 stupid graduate=one really creepy affair x the daughter finds out/one really stupid husband=really pathetic and depressing
  • That would be one heck of a paper!
  • And yes, a paper in math. WTH??
  • When I asked the math professor if he wanted the paper in MLA format, he said, “what’s that?”
  • That’s what I like to hear.
  • I have “What the hell am I doing??” Syndrome aka SAHM ADD so bad, I had to actually make a weekly chore chart just to get something done!
  • I’m close to putting things like “put on a bra” and “feed the kids” and “refrain from staring aimlessly at the wall for longer than 30 minutes” just to keep on task.
  • Even though I’ve been able to mark off everything but 2 things on my weekly list, today my house is still a mess.
  • And I am freely staring aimlessly at the wall.
  • Yoga makes me feel pretty.
  • Zumba makes me feel retarded.
  • I learned this week that highly potent asparagus pee+small public bathroom+someone waiting to use it after you= AWKWARD

Link up with Glamazon and play along!

Yes sounds like your math paper should be easy :). I hate when the men folk steal the computer. And you are missed.

LMBO at the last one. Too funny.

I have a chore chart up, and cleaning is the last priority. So guess what I'm not caught up with?

Funny, yoga makes me feel pretty retarded...... At least be drinkin' a diet coke while you're staring at the wall (that's what I affectionately call multi-tasking)

Asparagus pee? Yeah, I have no clue how to spell that. Or what that is. But I'm willing to eat asparagus to find out. I'm sorry about the social thing...TOTALLY sucks. I totally feel ya. But you're depriving the world of our Mindi Sunshine, so get back out there, okay?

PS-Putting on a bra should earn you a gold star ;)

I totally think the night should end with yoga for that and many other reasons! Your post makes an average week seem hilarious! Thanks so much for the laugh!

I would like it stated for the record that I, too, totally noticed the lack of posts. I just can't really cast any stones from my glass house.

And you are a braver woman than I. Zumba just seems like a multiple body accident waiting to happen.

you make me laugh, Mindi ...only because I relate so well ... depression??? maybe that's why you fit in to this family so well ... we all have some form of said disorder ... LOL

Um..... what's MLA format?

I'm jealous of your yoga optimism. I am too afraid to try because I know I will look like an idiot. I wanted to try Zumba, but then I found out about someone in my neighborhood who goes to that class, and I said NO way is she going to see me in there. I will never be on the coordinated level that she is.

But maybe if I put one of those on a chore chart I might get around to it someday.

Maybe.

I love your blog Mindi. You are so relatable! I write myself lists to remind myself of what to do too. Sadly mine has stuff on there, like "Take synthroid", "Eat at least one vegetable today", "Shave legs today", etc. My hubby is deployed but coming home in 2 weeks, so I need to start remembering without the list so he doesn't see them and wonder who this crackhead he married is.
