I’m a little concerned about what my child is being taught at church. I mean, nothing like this would happen because of my parenting skills.
I make that Duggar chick look like some dead beat mom, I’m telling ya!
Anyway, we came home from church and, as usual, my 4 year old came home with some new artwork. Here it is:
Isn’t that sweet? When asked who was in the picture it was “Me and my sister”.
But then….
You turn it over and…
“Ummm…sweetie…who is that? (pleasedontsaymompleasedontsaymompleasedontsaymom)
“ZOMBIE!! *giggle*”
I don’t know about you, but I felt the Spirit…er…something…
Maybe it’s because my children watch this video over and over and over..

I love the aspiring artist and the zombie song is priceless!
Haha I love it!!
Whew! Crisis averted. Church is so long it seems the kids could illustrate an entire book!
I definitely tried to work in The Walking Dead to every nursery lesson.
In my house, that would have so totally been Mom. Well... the watered-down version.
You must be doing something right!
Hahahaha! That's funny!
That song is hilarious. And Zombies are a perfectly normal thing to talk about in church ;)
that is totally awesome!!
I stopped by for second just to fart
Yeah, hate to say it, but I liked the zombie more.
What an artist!
It takes all sorts to make a family...
I just saw this and I love it. It reminded me of the pictures my boys used to make in church sometimes. Nothing so tame as a zombie. They often had heavy duty weapons and dead bodies and blood drips.
I am not sure what that was about but they came out okay. Our fifth son is on his mission now.
One of my boys brought home his picture from church yesterday, and I immediately thought of this post of yours. I think the picture was supposed to be "What Heaven is Like" and he drew some stick figures and told his teacher it was optimus prime and grimlock. The twins are both totally in love with that zombie song too, by the way.
