One of my BFFs does a Friday Confessional on her blog and today, Glamazon, decided to make it a party, so of course, I wanted to join in! I even brought hummus!! Hmmmm…hummus….
Come join the fun over here!!
I feel like I have confessed way too much so much to you guys already but here we go:
I confess:
- I love to watch cartoons with my kids.
- I think I may have seen every episode of SpongeBob there is.
- I have a crush on Patrick Starfish.
- I think it’s the deep baritone voice of his.
- And the fact I’m smarter than him.
- I hope…
- I also think Phineas and Ferb is a hilarious show!
- The fact that they are brothers but one has an American accent and the other a British accent=Brilliantly funny!!
- And a pet platypus spy that goes about foiling evil, diabolical plans=Genius.
- To think that when I was growing up all I had was a cat and mouse chasing each other or little blue people who lived in mushrooms.
- These shows make more sense to me than the educational ones.
- I mean, where the hell are Dora’s parents?! “See you, honey! Have fun in the jungle! Watch out for that Grumpy Old Troll and the snakes!”
- I woke up one morning to a song on a TV show about dinosaurs that was about dinosaurs’ poop.
- I’m so not kidding.
- A sponge living in a pineapple who is BFFs with a starfish and a squirrel who lives in a bubble at the bottom of the sea, works at the local crabby patty joint, has a pet snail and has to watch out for a diabolical plankton makes complete sense.
- So does a pet platypus who just happens to be a very skilled spy.
- Hey, at least their parents aren’t letting them wander aimlessly through a jungle with their BFF who just happens to be a monkey!
- Don’t they know those monkeys fling poo, whether or not they wear freakin boots!?
- Gotta go, I’ve got a whole DVR full of cartoons to catch up on before the kids get home from school!

Yesss...thanks for playing! I'm totally with you on Phineas and Ferb. And Spongebob is growing on me. You know what I love to watch, kids around, or not? icarly. That show has completely sucked me in. Me and the girls know the whole theme song and break into it at random moments.
PS-Where's the hummus?
LOL That was too funny!!
My son is ADDICTED to dora, I on the other hand.. not so much! lol He used to love spongebob and I would watch that with him all day long.. I then decorated his whole room in spongebob. Does he watch it anymore? Nope! Hes all about Dora & this other cartoon called Max & Ruby... AGHHHHH!! have fun watching your cartoons..
I think I've seen about every episode of Sponge Bob too. I don't claim to like the show but I have sat down with my boys and watched it before. Also, unlike you, I do not have a crush on Patrick Starfish. He's just not my type. Now, Handy Manny on the other hand, he's, well....not my type either. I do love how Special Agent Oso helps people out in "3 special steps". That's gotta count for something...or something. :) (Never imagined having this conversation...)
That's why the monkey wears boots...he's no fool.
I am so with you on Spongebob.. memorized every episode.
I'm Ready!
I'm Ready!
I'm Ready!
Patrick is my lover
Wow that is very honest..I was there too at one point..Good Times..miss it too sometimes...my kids (girls) are older 17 and 21..we now watch trashy stuff together..Yeeeaaah..!!Im a new follower from Friday Confessional..!
So I am with Melissa. I love iCarly. I know. I am 12 still. Last dr check up with the kids, we chatted about the dinosaur show. I mean who thought that one up?? One smart lady for sure, the kids all love it and the grownups hate it.
My question where are Max and Ruby's parents?? Maybe if they were around Ruby wouldn't have to act like such an annoying know it all!
I confess I am now following your blog because you cracka me up!
Phineas and Ferb are gonna do it ALL!
I know all about those crazy boys...and have seen all the episodes & I know that Ferb's dad married Candace & Phineas' Mom. Ya know, the modern family! Yours & mine!
I am still not into SpongeBob! But I hope things work out with you and Patrick.....watch out for the flinging POO!
